There have been reports of a telephone scam involving recorded voice messages or text messaging notifying HSBC customers that their ATM/Debit or
Credit card has been blocked. Customers are being instructed to call a number or press keys to continue and enter their card number including PIN.
HSBC will NEVER solicit your PIN information from you. PIN changes must be performed in person at a local branch or ATM.
