Senior Leadership
Lindsay Gordon
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gordon joined HSBC Bank Canada in 1987 in Toronto and since then has served in a variety of senior positions in both Vancouver and Toronto. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in December 1999 and President & CEO in October 2003. Mr. Gordon serves on a variety of Boards. He is Governor and Co-Founder of the CH.I.L.D. Foundation, a board member of the Business Council of B.C., Governor of Junior Achievement of Canada, a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, a member of the President’s Strategic Advisory Council of UBC, a member of the Advisory Board of The Centre for CEO Leadership at the UBC Sauder School of Business, Director of Immigrant Employment Council of B.C., and Director, C D Howe Institute.
Sandra Stuart
Chief Operating Officer
Sandra joined HSBC in 1980 and rose through the organization by taking on a variety of roles, including secondments in both Brazil and the U.S. Sandra was most recently working as Global Head of Change Delivery Management, HSBC Holdings, where she was appointed in 2009. Other previous positions include, Senior Vice President and Head of Operations, HSBC Bank Canada, Head of Information Technology for Group Personal Financial Services, HSBC North America and Chief Information Officer for HSBC Finance Corporation.
Margaret Willis
Executive Vice President, Personal Financial Services & Wealth Management
Ms. Willis joined HSBC in 1978 and has served in a number of executive roles in the United Kingdom and the United States, including Regional President, Metropolitan New York and Divisional Director, Personal Financial Services, Southern Division, United Kingdom. Ms. Willis has been in her current role since September 2009.
Jason Henderson
Co-Head of Global Markets
Mr. Henderson is the Treasurer and Co-Head of Global Markets for HSBC Bank Canada. He is also a member of the Executive and Asset Liability Committees for the bank. Mr. Henderson possesses an extensive background in capital markets both in Canada and abroad. He joined HSBC in 2006 in New York where he was Head of FX Options for the Americas. Prior to joining HSBC he spent 13 years with another Canadian financial institution. Mr. Henderson holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Graham McIsaac
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. McIsaac joined HSBC Bank Canada in 1990 and has held a number of senior finance and operations positions since. Mr. McIsaac is a member of the Executive Committee and chairs the Bank's Asset and Liability Management and Risk Management Committees. Prior to joining HSBC, he spent 14 years with other Canadian financial institutions. Mr. McIsaac is a Chartered Accountant and Graduate of Strathclyde University, Glasgow.
Pehlaj Malhotra
Chief Risk Officer
Mr. Malhotra is responsible for enterprise-wide risk management including credit, market, operational, compliance and security risk and is a member of the Executive Committee which leads the strategic direction of HSBC Bank Canada. Pehlaj Malhotra joined HSBC in 1993 and was appointed Chief Risk Officer in 2010. He has served in several senior positions across the range of HSBC's business activities. He is active in promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurship among children and young adults.
Linda Seymour
Executive Vice President, National Head of Commercial Banking and Regional President, Central and Eastern Canada
Linda has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry with HSBC Bank Canada. Ms. Seymour has had a diverse career with progressively senior roles in Commercial Banking and Personal Financial Services. Previously, she was Senior Vice President Commercial Banking, Ontario Region and prior to that Senior Vice President and Head of Branch Operations.
