Fraudulent Email (Phishing)

HSBC will never solicit your personal or security information via email or by phone. If you receive any suspicious, or so called 'phishing' emails, claiming to be from HSBC, please do not click on any embedded links or provide any personal details.

Forward the entire email in its original format (including any attachments) to info@hsbc.ca. Please also discontinue any phone calls where a person requests your security details and contact HSBC Bank Canada Internet Banking's Support line at 1-866-808-HSBC (4722).

Important Note: If your Internet Banking password has been compromised, please immediately contact:

  • Personal Internet Banking: 1-888-310-HSBC (4722)
  • Business Internet Banking: 1-866-808-HSBC (4722)
