What’s the difference between a Primary User (System Administrator) and a Secondary User?

A Primary User, also known as a System Administrator, has authority and responsibility for the installation, administration and on-going use of Business Internet Banking by all organizations in the BIB profile. They have access to all services and functions, including the authority to set up other users (Secondary Users) and to establish their access rights and transaction limits. System Administrators must maintain signing authority for all accounts under the Business Internet Banking profile.

A Secondary User is any person authorized by the System Administrator to access and use BIB for the day-to-day running of the customer’s accounts. The System Administrator sets up (and amends when necessary) the Secondary User’s access rights and transaction limits.
