  • Business Internet Banking refers to Primary Users (System Administrator) and Secondary Users. What’s the difference?

A Primary User, also known as a System Administrator, is the person who has the ultimate responsibility and authority to use and access a business’ profile on Business Internet Banking. Usually the business owner or manager, the Primary User has access to all Business Internet Banking services and functions, including the authority to set up access for other users (Secondary Users) and establish their transaction limits.

Primary Users must be a signing authority for all accounts under their Business Internet Banking profile.

A Secondary User is any person authorized by the Primary User to access and use Business Internet Banking for the day-to-day running of accounts. The Primary User sets up - and amends when necessary - the Secondary User’s access rights and transaction limits in the Business Internet Banking profile.

  • For the User Access and Account Control feature, what’s the difference between Sole and Dual Control?

Primary Users (or System Administrators) with Sole Control have the authority to add, or change, User Access or Account Control on their own. Primary Users with Dual Control need the approval of a second System Administrator to make changes to the Business Internet Banking profile.

  • How current are my account balances when I check them through Business Internet Banking?
