Receive your documentary letter of credit by e-mail direct

Electronic documentary letter of credit advising (EDCA) is an electronic means for export customers to receive documentary letters of credit (D/Cs) and export advices from HSBC, via email.

Exporters want to receive D/Cs advised in their favor, as soon as possible, so that they can commence the manufacturing process earlier. HSBC is committed to “advising” export DC’s promptly. As soon as the D/C is advised, the content is delivered by HSBC almost instantaneously as an e-mail attachment. At the same time, HSBC offers the security and convenience of holding the original D/C in safe custody for the exporter.
