The Immigrant Investor Program was created in 1986 by the Canadian government to attract successful business immigrants to Canada.
To participate, you must meet specific Immigration Selection Criteria, and be able to invest C$800,000 for 5 years under one of two available investment programs:
- the Federal Program, or
- the province of Quebec Program 1

Both programs are government guaranteed, assuring that your C$800,000 investment will be repaid in full, without interest, at the end of the 5-year period. If your application is successful, you and your immediate family will be granted Canadian Permanent Residence Visas.
