As primary investment advisor, AMCA may hire sub-advisors for the HSBC Pooled Funds, including sub-advisors that are affiliated with them. AMCA may hire or replace an advisor at any time. Commissions, trailing commissions, management fees, investment management fees and expenses all may be associated with investments in the HSBC Pooled Funds. The indicated rates of return are the historical annual compounded total returns. The returns are based on the historical annual compounded total returns, including changes in unit values. The rates of return and performance data assume reinvestment of all distributions and do not take into account sales, redemption, distribution or optional charges or income taxes payable by any unit holder in respect of a participating fund that would have reduced returns.

Quartile rankings are a measure of how well a fund has performed against all other funds in its asset class. The rankings range from 1 to 4 for all time periods covered. Mutual funds with the highest percent returns are assigned to a quartile of 1, whereas those with the worst returns are assigned a quartile of 4.

Quartile rankings are compiled by sorting the funds by one-year return. Funds in the top 25% are assigned a ranking of 1; the next 25% are assigned a ranking of 2, and so forth.

Note: The ranking of a fund may change for the following reason. When funds with historical performance data are added to the globefund.com site, the quartile rankings are recalculated to take into account the performance history of the new funds. The addition of the new funds may change the ranking of funds presently on globefund.com.
