With e-Statements your monthly bank statement is sent electronically as an online pdf file - rather than mailed as a paper copy. And it’s all so simple: Just log on to Personal Internet Banking and register for e-Statements under the "Statements / Notifications" option.

What are e-Statements and e-Notifications?

Personal Internet Banking customers can receive statements and notifications through Personal Internet Banking, instead of by mail. With e-Statements/e-Notifications your monthly bank statement and account notices are sent electronically in a .pdf file - rather than mailed as a paper copy.

How long do my e-Statements remain online?

Your e-Statements/e-Notifications will remain within Personal Internet Banking for the period of 6 statement cycles.

Why should I use e-Statements/e-Notifications?

By using e-Statements/e-Notifications you will receive the e-Statements/e-Notifications instantly on the day they are generated, instead of waiting for the mail. Also, turning off paper statements directly supports HSBC’s commitment to the environment by reducing paper consumption.

How do I use e-Statements/ e-Notification?

When an e-Statement/e-Notification is generated, a message will be sent to your Personal Internet Banking inbox. To view an e-Statement/e-Notification, simply click the date under the 'Statements / Notifications' menu option within Personal Internet Banking and the e-Statement will be displayed as a .pdf file.

How do I sign up for e-Statements/e-Notifications?

All Personal Internet Banking customers will be automatically enrolled for e-Statements and e-Notifications.
