The NEW HSBC Premier Alerts service demonstrates our commitment to protecting you at home and when you travel.
Exclusively for HSBC Premier MasterCard® cardholders, this service allows you to receive notifications via email or SMS text message1 for transactions that are made online or internationally. Enrollment is free. Once registered, you can receive alerts for the following types of transactions:
Online purchase – an alert is sent for any online purchase where the transaction amount is above the minimum threshold amount (CAD) set by you.
For example, if you set $100 as your threshold amount, any online purchase above $100 will send out an alert.
International purchase – an alert is sent on out-of-country transactions.
For example, if you register Canada as your home country, an alert will be sent on the first purchase made in France. If two days later, a purchase is attempted in the United States, another alert will be sent.
HSBC Premier Privileges
In addition to your choice of HSBC Rewards Programs, you can take advantage of HSBC Premier Privileges. This program consists of special offers available only to HSBC Premier MasterCard cardholders. It provides access to a variety of travel, dining, shopping and entertainment offers around the world.
