ABMs (Automated Bank Machines)

HSBC Bank Canada customers have access to over 825,000 ABM's worldwide including access to Interac^®2, Cirrus^®3, The EXCHANGE^®4 and Global Access ABM networks. Check with your local branch to find out if there are any restrictions on your account access or countries you may be visiting.

Pre-authorized payments

Pre-authorized payments can be set up for your monthly bills or required payments. Payments will be made automatically, and on time. So you never have to worry about late payments or cheques lost in the mail, especially when you are away from home.

• We can get your new US or overseas Premier account up and running before you leave for your new country (subject to local terms and conditions).
• Access to credit cards with similar limits to those you currently enjoy with HSBC in Canada (subject to status, local laws and terms and conditions.
• Enjoy free self-to-self online or telephone banking fund transfers to your HSBC Premier accounts, whichever country they are held in.
• When you get to your new country, your local Relationship Manager will contact you to make sure your accounts are up and running smoothly.

If you are not a Premier customer, the International Banking Centre can still assist you:

• We'll provide account opening forms for you to complete and then arrange for the accounts to be opened before you leave for your new country (subject to local terms and conditions)
• When you get to your new country, if you need any assistance, simply contact the local International Banking Centre. They understand the needs of customers from US or overseas and will provide help and guidance.
