Do I have to purchase my Trip Cancellation plan for the full amount of my non-refundable trip cost?

Yes. In some instances, if you have to cancel a trip, with enough notice, certain travel expenses will be refunded. The non-refundable amount of your trip cost is that amount which will not be refunded to you if you have to cancel. As your trip gets closer, the amount that is non-refundable can increase.

We recommend that you buy your insurance at the same time that you book your trip and that you buy insurance for the full amount of your trip cost to make sure that you are covered. If you choose not to follow this advice, then please be sure to increase the amount you insure with us as your non-refundable portion increases.
