What is trip interruption coverage?
HSBC’s Trip Interruption insurance plan will reimburse expenses for a covered risk which are unexpected and unforeseen, up to $5,000 for each insured person, should your vacation be interrupted as a result of a:
- Medical condition
- Death
- Travel advisory issued after your departure date
- Job loss or relocation
- Natural disaster
- Legal obligations such as jury duty
- Quarantine
- Missed connection
