Statement of Disclosure for Multiple Borrowers

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) requested, effective January 1, 2008, that all banks provide their borrowers with the ability to easily Review the Statement of Disclosure relating to any borrowing facility they may hold. At any time, a borrower may request that all future copies of these Statements of Disclosure be sent to them individually for their review.

These Statements of Disclosure relate to the following borrowing facilities that you may hold with HSBC Bank Canada – all personal overdraft and lines of credit, personal demand and instalment loans and all personal mortgage facilities.

The FCAC has requested banks implement this service in order to meet the needs of borrowers who hold joint borrowing facilities. It is a right under existing banking regulations for all loan holders to receive a Statement of Disclosure. This new service allows all joint holders of the facility to easily obtain their own copy of the Statement of Disclosure at their own address.

If you wish to change your choice of how you receive your disclosure, please click on the PDF form below, Borrowers Disclosure Choice Form, fill in your information and mail to:
