Security Device Troubleshooting Guide

This guide is designed to help you solve problems with your HSBC Security Device. Find the message you are seeing on your device on one of the screens below and then click the (+) symbol for instructions.

You will need to create a new PIN for your HSBC Security Device.

Think of a PIN between 4 to 8 digits. Avoid using sequential or repeated numbers like 1234 or 1111.

Enter your PIN in your device, and then press the yellow button.

Note: If you make a mistake entering your PIN, you can use the button to delete the last digit you entered.
