At HSBC, we're constantly working to make your banking experience better. Now it's even easier to do most of your banking securely right from your compatible phone or tablet.

Get the App and register for Mobile Banking

Download the HSBC Canada Mobile Banking app from the App Store or Google Play, and then log on with your Online Banking username and your Digital Security Device password. You can also log on with face/fingerprint ID on a supported mobile device.

Not registered for digital banking yet? You can register on the HSBC Canada app, and get full access to your accounts – in both mobile banking and on hsbc.ca.

Mobile banking features

  • View account balances
    You can now see all your account balances and transaction history. This includes your Canadian accounts as well as your eligible global accounts.
  • Convenient way to pay your bills
    It's easier to pay your bills on the go at anytime. Tap into the HSBC Canada Mobile Banking app, select the bill you want to pay, chose the account from where you want to pay the bill, and it's done.
  • Transfer money easily
    You can do secure INTERAC e-Transfer® at any time. It's quick and simple to pay your share of dinner or transfer money to a loved one. You can also easily transfer funds between your accounts.
  • View your latest HSBC Mastercard transactions
    See your Mastercard transactions as they happen, before they are posted. Access your statements and transactions list from the past 7 years.
  • Call us using the app*
    Save time on identifying yourself by contacting us directly through our app in 3 taps.
  • Manage your account on the go
    Use the app anywhere, anytime, to update your phone number and email, or to review important documents, like tax slips and e-advice.

Quick Guides

Enjoy the convenience of depositing your on the go at anytime. Follow the simple steps below.

  1. Log on to the HSBC Canada Mobile Banking app, select "Move Money", and click “Deposit cheque”.
  2. Select the account you wish to deposit the cheque to.
  3. Enter the amount of the cheque.
  4. Take a photo of the front of the cheque and then the back of the cheque.
  5. Finally, review your deposit details and then select "Continue."
